DESCRIPTION
With a Semin Steam Guard layer applied to all the rafters, the steam barrier hangers need just be screwed to the rafters. In order to create the plasterboard ceiling, hangers are screwed to all the steam barrier hangers. The Semin furring (metal framing) is then clipped onto the hangers. The plasterboards can be screwed to the frame. The space thus created between the steam barrier and the metal gridwork is airtight and allows all electrical and HVAC services to pass through.
