SUITABLE SUBSTRATES

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION
Plasterboard must be attached in compliance with DTU 25.41 or 25.42.
Cuts made in boards must be bevelled and dust-free.

MIXING RATIO
10 to 11 L of water per 25 kg bag.
2 to 2.2 L of water per 5 kg bag.

USE
Before commencing jointing work, fill any accidental gaps between boards and repair any damage (spalling, damaged surface, etc.).
Apply manually using a 10 or 15 cm jointing knife and apply the tape (rough side against the filler). Apply a finish coat, leave to dry and finish to hide the tape.
Also hide any screw heads.
Apply tape to ceiling joints, ensuring that there is no formwork oil on the concrete.
For vertical outside corners, use reinforced tape (reinforced side against the board) or a metal corner bead.
